12.5" F4.7 Newtonian for Gary in
Hinckley, OH.:
This telescope
includes an Antares 2-speed 2" crayford focuser with 1.25"
adapter, a Destiny curved vane spider and secondary. The mirror
is a Hubble Optics 12.5" F4.7 with a strehl of .9987 and sits on
a custom build 6-point all aluminum mirror cell optimized with
Plop. I've installed the encoder installation kit and encoders
for Gary as well as a DSC stalk for a digital setting circle.
The
telescope was completed in June 2009.

This picture
of the moon was taken with the 12.5" telescope. I used a TeleVue
12mm Nagler and a simple point 'n shoot Nikon digital camera.
