DobSTUFF - A 12 Telescope

12" F5 for Dustin in East Hampton New York.

Dustin sent me his mirror and secondary for a makeover. I provided a Destiny Professional curved vane spider, Antares 2-speed 2" crayford focuser and 6-point flotation mirror cell. As additions, Dustin asked that include an eyepiece tray and cooling fan. Details below.

The telescope was completed in June 2009.

The 12" F5 telescope set up and ready to use.

Details of the cooling fan. The fan requires a 12Vdc power supply and uses an RCA jack for a connector. The fan mounts on the collimation bolts and under the wing nuts.

The eyepiece tray has space for two 2" eyepieces and two 1.25" eyepieces. The tray is removable, and is held in place two machine screws.

A set of 17" struts make the scope perfect for travel or storage. The over-all height is 20".
