INTRODUCING A NEW FOCUSER --
|
| Parts and kits: |
- You'll
save a bundle of $$$$ by ordering one of these
wood kits. The Kits
include all the wood pieces you'll need to
assemble a telescope -- but is as "unfinished
furniture". You'll need to fine sand, stain
and/or varnish as you prefer.
- I also make custom Rocker Boxes for your existing
commercial telescope or any special need you might have, such as Upper
Tube Assemblies, Tube Rings or "you name it". Parts will be
made to your exact specification.
- Additionally, if needed, I can supply aluminum tubing, threaded
inserts, virtual counter weight systems, clamps for finders or other
uses -- just ask.

| Ultra-Light Conversions: |
- The three strut
open-tube design is an extremely stable telescope that
is lightweight, holds collimation well and disassembles
into a few easy-to-carry sub-assemblies. When
transported, these telescopes fit into the trunk of a small car or back
seat. When re-assembled, you'll find that the optical tube
is near perfect collimation, and usually requires only the slightest
adjustment.
- If you currently have one of the many commercial dobs with
a solid tube, or even one of the heavier truss designs, you can use
your own mirror cell, focuser, spider and secondary to remake your scope
into a modern, lightweight portable telescope.

| Travel Telescope: |
- These
telescopes meet the airline "checked baggage" for someone who wants
to take his telescope onto an airplane as baggage (or just a
ultra-compact telescope for easy transport). The criteria was
that it must not have a footprint greater 18".
